About Turkishisms

Welcome to Turkishisms, a place where we can get together and enjoy Turkish memes, jokes, videos and generally anything we find funny that’s laying around the Internet.

My name is Eray (pronounced Air-Rye) and I’ve been Turkish for as long as I can remember and for a while I wanted to create somewhere where we can get together and enjoy the stereotype of being Turkish and so Turkishisms.com was born.

Expect videos and more coming soon – I may even start a Vlog if I can work out what they are for.

I remain half Turkish. Queuing is a foreign concept but so is wasting food.

I am not Turkish at all; I am Lebanese, but I think I’m Turkish. After all, we say Marhaba to everyone, inshallah, eat Baqlawa, mezza, grape leaves, lamb with everything. We wear Turkish tarboushes and have wild drummers at our weddings. So who came first? the Turkish or the Lebanese???? Remember I am a woman, so let me win.
